Hello Catia Community!

Is it possible, for example, to construct a disc with n holes so that n pipes are built into it in the product? if so how do i have to proceed?

Thanks to everyone who wants to / can help me!

Smitti

Hi,

Yes, that is possible. Create the holes in the disc using user patterns. Place a pipe in the assembly and use a reuse pattern to place the other pipes.

greeting

So now there is another problem:

I have created a product in which the main dimensions depend on a diameter.

1.Part: x-100 = desired diameter
2.Part: x / 2 = desired diameter
...
...
...

Request: to get all the desired diameters by changing x once!

Is that possible?
thx smitti

Hello smitti06,

of course it is possible.
You define the parameter "x" in all parts. Then you create the same parameter in the product and link these parameters in "Assembly Design" so that the parameter in the part results from that in the product. A change to the parameter in the product then also changes the parameters in the parts and thus their content.
The advantage of this procedure is that the part as such does not know anything about the controlled parameter and can therefore also be used elsewhere.

Kind regards,
Lusilnie
