Andrew Garfield is the best Spider Man

Comeback of "The Amazing Spider-Man" Andrew Garfield? That's how crazy "Spider-Man 3" is supposed to be

In the meantime Tom Holland is the cinema Spider-Man, also the first in the big MCU with all his other heroes around Captain America, Thor and Co. The era of his predecessors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield seemed over. But now they can come back - of all things in Tom Holland's "Spider-Man 3".

According to reports that have not been officially confirmed, but are based on information from reliable industry insiders, Marvel and Sony plan to cross all ranks in a great multiverse adventure. The so-called multiverse is the idea that there are different versions of a world that differ only slightly from each other.

In short: Tom Holland is active as Spidey in one world, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in parallel worlds.

The great Spider-Men cooperation?

Anyone who has last seen “Spider-Man: Far From Home” knows that Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, is in a tight spot. His identity has been revealed and he is believed to be a criminal. Who can still help him? Other Spider-Men, of course! So in the coming Marvel adventure there could really be the crazy moment that all three swing together through the urban canyons - Greetings from the animated film "Spider-Man: A New Universe".

You might be wondering how Holland-Spidey should reach the colleagues and open the door to other universes? This is where Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) comes in. It has already been leaked that he plays an important role in "Spider-Man 3" - and before that he will probably not by chance establish that so-called multiverse in his solo film "Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness".

There were first impressions of it in "Avengers: Endgame". And the existence of a multiverse was also discussed in "Spider-Man: Far From Home", even if in the end it was all just part of a fraud.

Such multiverses have existed for a long time in comics. Here it goes without saying that there are different versions of heroes. Really gigantic multiverse plans for the cinema first became known at Marvel's competitor DC with its "Justice League" universe. In the upcoming "The Flash" movie, the title character (played by Ezra Miller) will encounter different versions of Batman (including the version that Michael Keaton once impersonated in the Tim Burton films).

But because "The Flash" kept shifting, Marvel has now conquered the competitor with its similar plan. When “The Flash” hits the cinemas in November 2022 according to the current plan, parts of the audience might think that it was copied from the upcoming new “Spider-Man 3”.

The new "Spider-Man 3" is supposed to start on December 16, 2021, around a year earlier. If Tom Holland then meets Andrew Garfield, he could again step into the ring as Electro against Jamie Foxx. Because the villain from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will be involved again.

This has even been officially confirmed, while the alleged involvement of the old "Spider-Men" Maguire and Garfield is still being kept a secret. So it's not quite sure yet, but the chances are good that Andrew Garfield will be Spider-Man again after all.
