The soft skills in the list can be divided into these three categories, but they overlap so that competencies from one area usually also require skills in another area. Resilience does not mean that you work 24/7 without complaining. Rather, it means that you can keep a cool head in stressful situations and can deal confidently with unforeseen events. A good work-life balance, sport or some other kind of balance are important here in order to remain resilient in the job.

empathy

Put yourself in the shoes of others and understand their feelings is an important quality, especially for managers! Especially if you work internationally and maybe have to do with a different culture, it is important that you behave confidently here as well. You should at least be familiar with the local customs so as not to accidentally offend your counterpart.

Presentation strength

Ability to work in a team

One of the most important business skills is the ability to work in a team. Your expertise is of no use to you if you cannot share it with your colleagues and they do not benefit from you and vice versa.

Assertiveness

This is not about shooting your head through the wall, but rather about your powers of persuasion. Do you manage to convince and inspire others of your ideas and bring projects to a successful conclusion? Then you have assertiveness.
