  1. Mix the flour with baking powder and cornstarch. Beat the egg in a bowl with water and whisk the salt. Now gradually stir the water mixture into the flour mixture with a whisk. Stir well, otherwise you will get lumps.
  2. Let the dough soak for 30 minutes. If the dough is too thick, gradually stir in a little cold water until the consistency is right. Dip in as you choose and deep-fry at approx. 190 degrees.

Tips on the recipe

Since the water should be really cold, I put 1-2 ice cubes in the water beforehand so that it cools down.
